Conference from Pocket Gamer just got bigger and better – VR, AR and MR developers are very welcome at XR Connects Helsinki 2017
After last year’s taster session, XR Connects is back in Finland for a full conference! The event from Steel Media, makers of Pocket Gamer, lands on September 19th-20th in Helsinki. You’ll also find PG Connects and PC Connects, all in one venue! XR Connects is a dedicated VR/AR/MR event across two days with 60+ speakers, an expo area, a VR Indie Pitch event and more. XR Connects offers a great way for developers to get attention for their game and meet publishers, investors, press – including influencers – their peers and potentially useful service companies, such as tool-makers, demonetization experts.
The event features short, sharp talks; our lectures and panels are each less than 20 minutes, so we get through a LOT in a day! XR Connects track highlights include Solfar’s Thor Gunnarson who will be diving into his extensive experiences working in VR; Immersal’s Jufo Peltomaa, who will be heading up our brand new AR track by looking at what the future holds for this world-changing technology; and Coatsink’s Jon Davies who will be exploring what it takes to create an RPG in VR. In total there will be four different VR/AR/MR tracks covering everything from business through to development tips and tricks.
